About Me
- Name: genesisincalmh2o
Hello; and welcome to the web site that will chronicle the journey of Ken and Faye aboard R Genesis. Ken is a retired firefighter from the City of Calgary. Faye was a business owner. We purchased the Genesis, a 42' Universal Trawler in 2001 and moved aboard in 2007.The plan is to spend 3-5 years traveling south down the coast through the Panama, cruising the Caribbean, circumnavigating the Great Loop then returning home. After having been out for 2 years we have accomplished the West Coast and now are exploring South America and the Caribbean. This blog is an attempt to create a record that allows our friends and family to follow our dreams and become armchair sailors. Heaven knows they have listen to the dreams long enough! Please feel free to ask questions and we will try to answer.
