Well, its been awhile. I have figured out how to add a photo album which will be very useful. I am currently trying to figure out how to link to a map site so I can show our progress and where we are heading. It's coming but not quite there yet.
The work on the house is slowly coming. RJ was home a few weekends back to help his dad with a job and I cornered him into helping me clean out the garage! I started in earnest, the weekend is suppose to be nice so I am going to lay everything outside on the lawn and start from there. Just like the show "Clean Sweep". I just can't figure out any other way that would work. Very overwhelming. I am hoping the feeling is of jubilation when it is finished. Ken is busy this weekend. Soooo! Into his domain. He is the pac rat. The clutterholic. He did inherit the clutter gene. After all "it "may come in handy some day! "It's" day is numbered! I just wished I knew what half of the stuff was!

I actually set up the tables for the garage sale so as to not have to double handle everything. I was hoping to have the garage sell this weekend but I will not be finished by then so next weekend for sure. Can I do it? Stay tune! By waiting until next weekend Lea can give me a hand when she is back from Japan.

We have just spent the last nine days out at the boat getting it ready for the charter season for the last time. We rented a shed and empty our possessions . It feels like I cannot get away from the clutter. It was a hard week and busy. It is amazing how long things take to get done. I look forward to a minimized life style. We were able to get the things we wanted done on the boat done and then a few extras.

Well we are now into May and have one month to go until our deadline for the house sell. We still have lots to do. The renos seem to be multiplying. The serious house cleaning needs to be done but I want to wait until all dust creations are finished.

I just got home from work and WE HAVE BASEBOARDS! It's real we are moving! Craig you'll enjoy that.

Well its next weekend all ready. Where do we stand? The garage sale is this weekend. The hardwood floors are in, the outside painting is finished, new garage doors, I finished most of the re-leveling of outside patio stones. Just a few more to go. What do we have left?
Painting of the main hallway and tv room. About a 30 min job. Finish the basement and evict Alanna! The master bathroom painted, toilet replaced(the toilet is actually up the stairs just needs to find its proper room). A little bit of base board and the 4th bedroom 1 wall drywalled and painted. A very small list compared to the original list. It's doable to have it finished for our June 1st deadline. The market has only got hotter but we want to get in when the going is good and very few houses on the market.

Hopefully the next blog will be that we are on to the third and fourth step of the 10 step plan.
