Goals To Live By

1. Live your life with passion. Dare to dream big dreams.
2. Focus on your dream and keep it in front of you until you can visualize it as real.
3. Make a plan, and write it down.
4. Begin immediately, even if you are not ready.
5. The greater the obstacle in front of you, the greater is your opportunity for growth.
6. There is no great accomplishment without risk.
7. Never, never, never give up.
8. When all else fails, you can always laugh!
9. Never let anyone make you think your dreams are invalid.
10. When a friend suggests Feng Shui for getting things done....... believe her!
We have now purchased a 5 bedroom bi-level house in Winfield. We have a valley view but none of the lakes. Not high enough up. For those of you that do not know where Winfield is it is in the Okanagan.

Lake Country located on the shores of Wood Lake and Okanagan Lake in the sunny Okanagan Valley, Winfield is the southernmost of the Lake Country towns.
The Lake Country area offers much to see and do, and has a large agricultural base, with abundant fruit orchards, some of which have been in existence since the early 1900s. Lake Country calls itself the Apple Capital of Canada, producing over 35% of all apples grown in Canada. It is here that Russ and Carol have their orchard, and where RJ has lived for the past few years. Grape growing for wine making is another important agricultural activity.
Like the rest of the Okanagan, Winfield began as orchards, and is known as the Banana Belt of the Okanagan. Today tourism, agriculture, and manufacturing support this bedroom community of Kelowna.
The warm, dry climate of the Okanagan valley provides great recreational opportunities, including fishing, hiking, sailing, swimming, paddling and all water-borne activities.
Now we choose to make this investment because like Calgary property in Winfield is also hot. RJ made it on the Winfield volunteer fire dept and he still has 2 years left of school. He will be able to have roommates and we get into the hot real estate market there. Alanna and I want a peach, cherry, apple, prune, apricot tree. Spoken like someone from the prairies. If after spending many years on the boat we get tired of living on water we can always live here on land.
The plans are to invest in real estate where Alanna goes to Med school but that is still an unknown so for now she lives with us.
Many changes but they seem to be falling in place. Still no anxiety pangs so we must be going in the right direction.
