August 15th
Wow time has flown by. Lets see ......
We sold our house with an Aug 1 occupancy giving us the month of July to get everything packed, find a new place to live and get our live in order!
We were fortunate to have Werner and Helen Schroeder and their family from Stittsville, visit for a week. It had been so long since Werner and I had spent anytime together and we laughed at the escapades commited while teenagers. It was great!
A week later Michelle and Craig came to visit which was great timing as they could help us in the move.
We have sublet a townhouse for Sept 1 through a friend that teaches boating classes with Ken. This meant we were homeless for the month of Aug. The occupancy rate in Calgary is zero so we were happy to sublease. A fireman that works with Ken was going on holidays so offered us the opportunity to house sit for him. So we are house sitting until the 17th.We are then heading to Seattle to a Diesel course. The Saturday is a womans hands on , Sunday a mixed class. I am actually looking forward to the weekend. Ken will then stay and work on the Winfield house with RJ.
I will stay at Lea's for the remainder of the month then meet Ken back at the boat for Aug 30th. Are you still with me?
I will leave all the stress related things out of this blog as they are becoming a distant memory!
