Well renovations are well on the way. We are now in the final stages of getting things done to be ready to go.

The water maker is installed, the SSB is ready to be installed. The back aft cabin is almost complete and made into a living room. The final stage is the upper helm. This will take the month of May .

The boat gets lifted out of the water tomorrow and will have new zincs, thru hulls checked and fixed if need be. The bottom will be painted and her new name and port of call put on to her hull.

We will be circumnavigating Vancouver Island the month of June as the shakedown cruise. This will determine any last minute things we will need to do to the boat or us.

The house in Winfield has still not sold so if by Jun it hasn't we will put it in a property management company and get the rental revenue while we are gone.

Our health insurance for being out of the country is finalized, the boat insurance has been finalized, the Station licence, and boat registry has been completed, and the necessary paperwork has been gathered. We just need to make a trip to the doctors to get necessary drugs for the first aid kit, and finalize a few legal documents.

The weather in Vancouver has broken records for snow and coldness. A few months from now we will starting the adventure we have been planning for such a long time.
